Kristina Cullen-Snell

Jewelry

Kristina left the fast paced life as an award-winning corporate art designer in San Diego to design jewelry for a local company in 1992.  It didn't take long before she had fallen in love with this area and all it had to offer.  After leaving the structure of nine to five designing, she went back to her first love - sculpting.

A number of years later, while needing to travel a great deal, she returned to designing and making jewelry.  After all, it was impossible to bring all of the tools and materials needed to sculpt on the road, and not being able to create daily was out of the question for her.

Kristina found that working with the natural materials from the earth to be a very spiritual experience.  God's colors are infinite and beyond the scope of anything made by man. "It is like playing with a rainbow every day"!  She feels using anything less than the very best materials she could find would be a waste of her time and talent.  It is also very important for her to be able to offer quality gems that would be within the affordable to every woman, not just a privileged few.  This is why she searches for the best, at the best prices.  Gemstone beads from Thailand, India, Brazil, China, Indonesia and Africa.  Handmade glass from Italy, and from highly skilled artisans in the United States, and accents of only vermeil, gold-filled, and sterling silver.

Working with these natural materials, no two pieces of jewelry are alike.  In fact, Kristina will rarely, if ever duplicate any of her designs.  However, upon request, she is available to make a custom design with just the right colors and materials for you.

The photographs shown here are by no means a comprehensive inventory of the works we currently have for sale by this artist. They are meant merely as a representative cross-section of this artist's creations. Also, not all pieces shown here are necessarily still available. Each piece is an original one-of-a-kind artwork. Once it is sold, it is gone for good. If you are interested in more information about this particular artist and the works we currently have available, please Contact Us.
