Pamela Studstill

Art Quilts/Mosaics/Ceramics/Polymer Clay

Trained as a painter at the University of Texas in San Antonio (BFA 1978), Pamela now combines traditional quiltmaking techniques with contemporary aesthetic concerns to create painted, piece and appliquéd quilts.  She has been awarded two individual artist's grants from the National Endowment for the Arts (1983, 1989), and her work is in many public and private collections including The Renwick Gallery, National Museum of Art, the American Craft Museum (NYC) and the High Museum (Atlanta).
